It is with much sadness that I learn of the passing of Blue Cheer founder member DICKIE PETERSON.

Dickie had the most almighty rock and roll soul. He, Paul and Leigh were pioneers of loud rock music which morphed into heavy metal. Dickie, Paul and Duck continued to fly the flag.

I was fortunate enough to work with Blue Cheer although I always felt where we left it, was unfinished business. At least I helped put them back on the map. Dickie deserved so much more.

Much respect to you Dickie. You will be missed.
